However the carpet boxes take more punishment than the plastic on the road and I have 4 of these and they look good after 3 years of abuse. I dont like passives because theres no amp but I got a light weight Crown XLS1502 to power them up and it weighs only 9 lbs so thats not bad. I never had a client tell me that theres too much high end but I had a client that wanted more bass but I dont own a bass cabinet. Overall they sound good, not spectacular and do the trick for most bands, wedding DJs and PA sound. Also they are cheap enough to ruin and easily buy another one.&lt;/span&gt;
